Easter week post #3. (If you have missed the previous posts for this week, beginning with the introduction on Sunday, March 29, please go back and read.) Here the Father speaks to us about the cross and forgiveness. This word of revelation came over the course of two days, on May 12 and May 15, 2025.

“Sometimes My children disappoint Me. Sometimes they fall short of what I require. I AM diligent to tell them, to give them every opportunity to set the situation aright. Repentance required – a remorse for the sin, and a turning to wholeness and obedience. A Yes to this wipes out the failure completely. A No sets it in stone. However, I stand ready to forgive at any time – should the No turn to a Yes.

“My forgiveness is not the same as the forgiveness I require of you. I AM God. All sin is an affront against Me. I cannot remove one’s sin unless that person repents and turns from it. Yet I ask of you to forgive others immediately, even if they show no sorrow for the action and do not ask you to forgive them.

“Why is this? I AM God. I judge for eternity. When you forgive, you are releasing the offense from your own soul and into My Hands. You are saving your own soul from the bitterness of carrying the offense – and releasing the judgment regarding it to Me.

“My Son on the cross cried, ‘Father, forgive them.’ He refused to hold even such an offense against them. He released their judgment to Me, refusing to carry it within Himself. And He asked Me for Mercy on their behalf. Their sin was great – at the highest level – for this revelation of Truth was great, yet they rejected Him. At My Son’s request, I stood ready and willing to forgive even this sin, should they come to Me in repentance.

“When My Son died, I made the skies go dark. I caused an earthquake. I tore the thick veil in the temple. Heaven went silent at the death of My Son. Yes, Heaven, which gives forth much sound. The angels cry holy, the angels sing. Within Heaven all sings to Me. Yet All Went Silent.

“The Sending of My Son the Messiah was the Ultimate Promise of Heaven for Earth, prophesied over centuries and millennia. Those who prided themselves in knowing My Word were so sure of what they knew, they could not see their own Messiah standing in front of them. There was no lack of Revelation and Proof of WHO MY SON WAS. This was no ordinary sin on their part. This was the GREATEST AFFRONT. In King David’s day, he attempted to bring the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem. He did not follow My carefully stated law of how to do this. As a result a man reached out to touch the Ark – which held My Presence – and immediately died. He was not struck dead due to sin in his soul through the action. He was struck dead because he dared touch My Presence. My Son on earth was My Presence in a man’s form. Anyone who put Him to death could have – should have – been struck down upon His demise. My Son’s cry to Me to forgive them held back My immediate Judgment. His cry to Me was for My Mercy to give them time to repent if they so chose. My prophets of old did likewise, and I heeded their cry. Moses kept Me from striking down all Israel. Amos twice kept Me from carrying out a harsh judgment on Israel. I did not, and according to My Law could not, remove their sin of the deeds. But I held back My Judgment. In My Son’s cry to forgive those who put Him to death, He allowed no unforgiveness to rest on His own soul, and He held Me back from striking them dead.

“LET ME BE GOD. Do not carry offense on your soul. Release it to Me, and I will deal with it according to My Law. If My Son could forgive his own torture and death – you can forgive. He is your model and guide.”

[After the Lord stopped speaking this amazing word, I needed to ask him a question. In His first sentence He used the word “disappoint.” I could not equate this word with Him. Disappointment to me means we expect something to happen and when it doesn’t we are surprised and let down by it. So I asked the Lord what He meant by this word. He replied:]

“I AM not disappointed as you think of the word. I AM God. I AM never surprised. I do hold My standards, and take it to heart when you fail to keep them. In My Love for My People, I immediately offer correction for the sake of your soul. The choice to listen and obey is yours.”

Psalm 51:2-4: Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against You, You only, I have sinned and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You are justified when You speak and blameless when You judge.

Psalm 51:17: The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.

Matthew 27:45, 50-51: From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land…And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split… 

I Chronicles 13:7, 9-10: They moved the ark of God from Abinadab’s house on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding it…When they came to the threshing floor of Kidon, Uzzah reached out his hand to steady the ark, because the oxen stumbled. The Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah, and he struck him down because he had put his hand on the ark. So he died there before God.

Exodus 32:9-10, 11-12, 14: The Lord said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and behold, they are an obstinate people. Now then let Me alone, that My anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them; and I will make of you a great nation.”…Then Moses entreated the Lord his God, and said, “O Lord, why does Your anger burn against Your people whom You have brought out from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? Why should the Egyptians speak, saying, ‘With evil intent He brought them out to kill them in the mountains and to destroy them from the face of the earth’? Turn from Your burning anger and change Your mind about doing harm to Your people…So the Lord changed His mind about the harm which He said He would do to His people.

Amos 7:1-6: Thus the Lord God showed me, and behold, He was forming a locust-swarm when the spring crop began to sprout. And behold, the spring crop was after the king’s mowing. And it came about, when it had finished eating the vegetation of the land, that I said, “Lord God, please pardon! How can Jacob stand, For he is small?” The Lord changed His mind about this. “It shall not be,” said the Lord. Thus the Lord God showed me, and behold, the Lord God was calling to contend with them by fire, and it consumed the great deep and began to consume the farm land. Then I said, “Lord God, please stop! How can Jacob stand, for he is small?” The Lord changed His mind about this. “This too shall not be,” said the Lord God.

Psalm 128:1: Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him.

Easter week post #2. (If you missed yesterday’s introduction to this week’s posts, please go back and read.) This amazing word from Jesus regarding His cross came on July 7, 2025 at 1:51 a.m. The message drives me to my knees. He is calling so lovingly and fervently to all who do not yet know Him–His harvest.

“On a hill far, far away stood the cross. It wasn’t mine. I saw it from a distance. It stood empty, almost as a mockery. I couldn’t help looking at it, knowing what was to come. I felt My skin crawl, seeing it. So many thoughts. The cruelty of man, when I had made him in such perfection. The imagining of the rough wood at My back. The Inglorious pain.

“My Glorious Rising. For the Glory of man. A circle of Love from the Father.

“My days on earth seem long ago to you. To Me it was yesterday. All the emotions, all the Humanness ever before Me.

“I lived a life of bone and skin, of emotions, of humiliation and finger-pointing, pain and death – for you. For Redemption. For the Glory of us all.

“Don’t waste it. Don’t waste what I did for you. You there, whom I know, whom I lovingly created – you think I have forgotten you. I COULD NEVER FORGET YOU. I see all YOUR pain. I FEEL it. I long for My spilled Blood to wash over you and make you whole. It’s DONE. Your redemption WON. And what will you do with it? Trample it under the feet of your sin and despair? Or accept what I have done as your TURNING? Your Salvation – and the beginning of your journey back to Glory?

“You cry and cry out beneath the weight of your own wrong decisions, you despair at your life – your lack of it. LIFE ABUNDANT is standing right in front of you. LOOK UP. See Me holding Redemption out to you. Crying with you, calling to you to TAKE IT. Accept My Cross, My Death. My Sacrifice – for YOU. A NEW LIFE, a Shining Future, is one Yes away.

“The Choice has always been yours. You’ve chosen badly – and yet I LOVE you. By your decisions you’ve spit in My Face as surely as did the Roman soldiers. YET I LOVE YOU. Make the Right Choice now – and your Life, your ETERNITY turns.

“Your CHOICE remains. I remain. WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH ME NOW?

“Come, COME to Me, and I will give you REST. COME NOW. Stop fighting – and FALL INTO MY ARMS.

“COME.”

John 12:32-33: “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth [crucified], will draw all peoples to Myself.” This He said, signifying by what death He would die.

John 3:14-16: “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

They dressed Him up in purple, and after twisting a crown of thorns, they put it on Him; and they began to acclaim Him, “Hail, King of the Jews!” They kept beating His head with a reed, and spitting on Him, and kneeling and bowing before Him. After they had mocked Him, they took the purple robe off Him and put His own garments on Him. And they led Him out to crucify Him. 

I Peter 2:22-24: [Jesus] committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth; and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously; and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.

John 10:10: …”I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”

I Peter 1:3-5: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.

Matthew 11:28-30: “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Easter week Post #1.

This week’s series of posts has been a year in the making.

The Lord wants to speak to us this week about all that He accomplished on the cross. I will be posting a word each day starting tomorrow through Saturday. Five of these words from the Lord are reposts. In each one He speaks of the cross in different contexts. Put together, His words in these posts challenge us to embrace all His victories won by the cross–and apply them to our lives. We are called to live victoriously because Jesus paid the price for ALL freedom for us.

Friday’s post will be a word the Lord spoke to me a year ago. He instructed me to hold the word until His timing for its release. It is the most revelatory and mind-bending word He has ever spoken to me. It has given me far deeper understanding of Christ’s victory in death–for Himself and for us as we follow Him.

Many only think of the cross as Christ’s redemption for our sins–which is true. What an eternal, amazing victory for all who will accept Him! And yet Jesus accomplished so much more than even this miracle on the cross and through His resurrection. He won back man’s authority over satan–the authority lost when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden. He established all His people as co-heirs with Him. His shed blood as the perfect lamb gave us all power over evil. He died to heal us in all ways–of our sins, of sickness, and of soul wounds caused by trauma in our lives, of fear and anxiety. We are to live as conquerors, as mighty warriors over evil, rising in our faith above all earthly circumstances–and kicking satan OUT of every aspect of our lives.

Do we?

Why do Christians, who carry the power of Jesus’ all-powerful blood, walk around defeated, depressed, and oppressed by the devil? Why do we live as if we’re weak and helpless? Why do we say “I can’t….” about anything when we serve a boundless God? Why do we not understand the full depth of Christ’s accomplishments for us on the cross–and live accordingly? Jesus paid for all these victories with His LIFE. And what do we do with these wondrous gifts?

Everything that happened on the week of Jesus’ death was a fulfillment of prophecy, beginning with His entry into Jerusalem on a donkey. Everything that happened during the crucifixion–all the details and words spoken by Jesus–were to fulfill prophecy. John 19:28-30 gives us a clear indication of this: “Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” ²⁹ A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. ³⁰ When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.” King David’s Psalm 69:21–“They put gall in my food and gave me vinegar for my thirst.”

David’s Psalm 22 serves as a detailed prophecy of Christ’s crucifixion. But it doesn’t stop with Jesus’ death. Verses 19-21 prophesy of God’s rescuing His life–the resurrection. Verses 27 and 28 foretell the ultimate victory and result–when all people and nations will worship the Lord–Jesus the King. The final verse proclaims, “He has done it.” Jesus echoed this with His words from the cross: “It is finished.” When Jesus cried out the first line of this psalm from the cross–“My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?”–He wasn’t crying out in despair. He knew His Father would never forsake Him and would in fact raise Him up again. Jesus was quoting this prophetic psalm that told of His death and ultimate victory. The details within the psalm of piercing His hands and feet, of the soldiers gambling over His robes, of his bones being out of joint due to hanging on the cross, of the people staring at Him and sneering for Him to deliver Himself, of his thirst–these held the revelation of what all those watching His death were witnessing at that very moment. The religious leaders standing by and gloating over Jesus’ death knew this psalm. But they’d never understood it. King David’s words from so long ago proclaimed that this death they had caused and were now witnessing would lead to Jesus’ ultimate worldwide victory. Jesus invoked David’s prophetic first line to alert them to this psalm. To say, “This is playing out right now before you! Open your eyes and SEE. And in the end I will be the Victor!”

The final post of this week on Saturday speaks to this victory–for Jesus and for us–and to how we should therefore live.

I encourage you to take time in reading each posted word this week. Before reading, ask the Lord to release revelation of His message to you. These words from Him are hard-hitting and deep, and they deserve our reverence. All of His words to us, whether written in His Bible or spoken, must be heard with our spirit, not our rational mind. For the Lord’s words are far greater and higher than our mere human rationality. He will grant us revelation of His words if we will only ask.

May you be blessed this week. May your life be changed through these words from our Lord. And when next Sunday–Easter–dawns, may you rejoice in the day as you have never before rejoiced. For Christ’s death…lead to our VICTORY.

John 19:23-24: When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom. “Let’s not tear it,” they said to one another. “Let’s decide by lot who will get it.” This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said, “They divided my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.”
