Easter week post #7. (If you missed this week’s previous posts, including the introduction on Sunday, March 29, please go back and read.)
This word from the Lord came on April 11, 2025. It came suddenly and unexpectedly, in the midst of Jesus reprimanding me for studying the Bible that evening through my own rationality and neglecting to ask Him for HIS meaning, HIS revelation. I knew better than this, for He had taught me how to approach His scripture. In Jesus’ love for me, He would not let this failure rest upon me. Yet He had so much more to say to all His people through my chastisement.
The most honest and thorough way to present this word is to copy out of my journal how it came about (adding minor clarification for your understanding). I have prayed for every reader that you will open your heart to King Jesus’ stunning words–and not stop in the middle to argue out of your own rationality. Ask Him for His discernment and revelation as you read. Then test the word according to I Thessalonians 5:19-21. The Notes section will include further discussion.
From my journal, 4/11/25:

I have been working on a Bible study teaching regarding the “three days and three nights” that Jesus spent in the “heart of the earth.” As I have been studying it all, always asking the Lord for His truth and revelation, it became clear that Jesus actually died on a Thursday. That’s quite a revelation and goes directly against all of our tradition. I remember the Lord telling me months ago to lay all the doctrine I have learned on the altar before Him and let Him take what is not correct. So I always try to do that as I study, putting aside what I think I know and letting Him lead me. I have been working hard on the lesson. I thought I had it done and ready to print for this morning’s meeting. Last night after dinner I sat down to look it over, and I found myself so confused. Here is what I know now – I did not stop to ask the Lord for revelation. I was trying to review it only through my own rational thinking. As a result, I could no longer grasp the timing of Jesus’ death, and I wondered if what I had been thinking was wrong. I was trying to count the three days and three nights, and it just got all messed up in my mind as I tried to think of those days and nights in terms of Israel’s timing. Finally I unhooked that whole portion from the lesson, knowing that I could not figure it out by today. It was just very confusing. After all that (!) I asked the Lord if He would tell me what the truth is regarding this matter.
At 12:49 a.m. I was woken up with a hit of the Lord’s presence. Before I could even reach for my notebook, I was hit with a second HARD hit. That was the sign to me that this would be a weighty word. The word started out with Jesus questioning me. And from his very first question he sounded impatient and not at all pleased with me. I realized I needed correction. And He was giving it. Here is how the conversation went, and the absolutely AMAZING word that finally came forth. I am still overwhelmed at all of it.

“What do you want from Me? Ask it.”
(I would like clarification of your story the last week you were alive.)
“Why?”
(I would like to understand. You’re the Passover Lamb. Shouldn’t we be clear on this?)
In a ticked off tone: “I died. I arose. End of story.”
(I did not know how to respond. I didn’t understand what he was saying or why he was talking like this. I waited for a while before he spoke again.)
“You have been leaning on your own rationality. ASK ME.”
(Yes, Lord, forgive me. I ask you now. I asked you earlier tonight. I’m grateful you’re talking to me about it.)
“Don’t wait so long next time. You sat down to work on your lesson – about ME – and didn’t consult Me. Confusion arose. Unnecessary. I AM your guide and teacher.”
(Yes. Just as You were talking about a few nights ago. You want your people to ask you about everything. This must be what you meant weeks ago when you said we should ask more questions.)
“Yes. I AM always here. This question is about My own life. I should know.”
(Forgive me, Lord. I see the foolishness in it.)
(I waited a while and heard nothing. So then I said: What happened that last week? What are the days?)
At this point I heard no more from the Lord. I began praying against any demonic interference with my hearing. I had prayed that before going to bed, but I prayed it again. After some time Jesus spoke again.
“You seek details. Do they change the story?”
(They tell that You are the Passover Lamb – and the first fruits of resurrection. I waited awhile and heard nothing. So I asked: You have asked me to come to you with the doctrines I’ve learned – to see what is correct.)
“You are correct. My death was Thursday. 3:20. My Spirit plummeted to hell – the place sadly made for My fallen angels. The darkness was overwhelming. No sense of My Father – at all. I was always with My Father. The silence, the abandonment was the worst thing I had experienced. This was true DEATH. I clung to His promise. I trusted without doubt. He had prepared Me – as I prepare you to face things in your own life. We never leave our loved ones without preparation.
“My angels recorded My time of death. They could not descend with Me.
“The darkness, the cut-off from My Father was thick. Like mud. It weighed heavily – more than I thought I could carry.
“I waited. I waited for His Promise.
“The CRACK of His sudden touch nearly split Me apart. Cast Me to the ground, unable to move under His weight. Fire roared within Me. The sound and brightness of light lit up all Hades – as a sudden immense bolt of lightning in a black sky. Power and glory FLOODED in Me. I had not felt this for a long time – My years on earth. My transforming on the mountain was not even as this. All Hades went silent. All the shrieking – STOPPED. I rose up, My brightness filling all Hades. Shrieks rose again – from Satan and his cohorts. A different kind of shrieking. The kind I heard in heaven. They fled, Satan fled, but there was nowhere to go from My Light. They hid their eyes, covered their faces – to no avail. Satan could not stand before Me. We spoke no words. No need. He KNEW. He could not move under the KNOWING. The REVELATION shrank him. Like your cellophane shrinks at heat and collapses in on itself. He could no longer hold the keys to his empire. They fell from him into My hands.
“I appeared at Abraham’s side. He fell before Me. All Paradise fell at the weight and power of My Glory. The GREAT I AM. I told them, ‘I’ve come to take you home.’ They knew I AM their promise. Few words were spoken then. They wanted to GO. I wanted to GO. My work, My CULMINATION on earth lay before Me.
“In the tomb, My Spirit pierced My body and filled it. The angels were ecstatic. They had opened the tomb. The Father’s Presence continued to sing to Me, bathe Me in His Love. He covered My outer Glory so I would not strike dead those I love on earth.
“I rejoiced at seeing Mary, My Beloved. I rejoiced at her rejoicing. The sacrifice was OVER. I strengthened her to carry the weight of the revelation. I could not stay with her.
“My re-entrance to heaven cannot be described to you in words. You will see it. I will show you. All heaven sang as never before. They welcomed My friends with great rejoicing. Their angels were very excited to see them.
“My Blood lay on the Mercy Seat in heaven. The angels had taken it.
“Can you see all these things with your spiritual eyes?”
(Yes. I’m beyond humbled and grateful.)
“Do the days matter as much to you now?”
(No. Now I’m fixated on YOU.)
“As it should be. Go, My Daughter. Proclaim. I will show you how.”

Notes:
So many things about this word surprised me. For example, the exact time of death, spoken according to our present time. The Bible tells us Jesus cried out about the ninth hour (around 3 p.m.). A few more things happened after that, and then He gave up His spirit. So the time of 3:20 does fit with that timeframe. What an amazing thing that the angels recorded the time in a way that would speak to future generations, because the Jews did not keep that kind of time, of course. I also had never pictured some of the things in hell happening as Jesus described them. I had never thought about the keys to death and Hades falling off of satan. I had pictured Jesus taking them from him. In a word a few years ago, Jesus called satan a “shrunken membrane.” I had assumed that happened when he and his followers had been kicked out of heaven. Apparently not. (The shrieks in heaven Jesus mentions in this word must refer to that time.) I had never thought about how Jesus’ glory had to be covered up so He could appear as a man.
This word doesn’t cover every detail. I still have questions about some things. It covers what He chose to tell us. Test this word against the scriptures. Ask for His discernment and revelation as you study. Focus on WHY these events took place, and His victory gained through His resurrection–which became OUR victory. Jesus’ telling of these events explain why demons are so afraid of His blood. Think of them seeing their own leader melt before Him at that moment of revelation that Jesus’ blood was the blood of the perfect lamb. This word is an inside look of the “disarming” in Colossians 2:13-15: “When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.”
As a result, we now are seated with Christ in the heavenly places, far above all those rulers and authorities. The entire demonic world is under our feet through the power of His blood!
Ephesians 1:18-21, 2:4-6: “ I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come…But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
Romans 16:20: “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.”
How can we have any fear in fighting our demonic enemy!? Why should we feel helpless under any circumstance? We have already won! Hallelujah!
(If you choose to delve into the day of His death, don’t get caught up in mere counting of days according to your own thinking–as the Lord chastised me for doing. Remember Jesus’ admonition to us in yesterday’s word (April 3, 2026): He is the Lamb of God (John 1:29). He is the Passover Lamb (I Corinthians 5:7). Therefore the timing of His death will follow the timing of events commanded for the choosing of the spotless lamb and its killing at twilight four days later, as laid out in Exodus 12 and Leviticus 23. Note also that the Feast of Unleavened Bread on the following day is a “high day,” an extra “sabbath,” requiring no work to be done on that day–John 19:31.)
Additional verses:
II Corinthians 5:21: He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Matthew 12:40: For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
I Peter 3:18-19: For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, in which he went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison…
Psalm 16:7-11: I will bless the Lord who has counseled me; Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night. I have set the Lord continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will dwell securely. For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol; Nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay. You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
Acts 2:23-31: “…this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death. But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power. For David says of Him, ‘I saw the Lord always in my presence; For He is at my right hand, so that I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart was glad and my tongue exulted; Moreover my flesh also will live in hope; Because You will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor allow Your Holy One to undergo decay. You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of gladness with Your presence.’ Brethren, I may confidently say to you regarding the patriarch David that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. And so, because he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn to him with an oath to seat one of his descendants on his throne, he looked ahead and spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that He was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did His flesh suffer decay.”
Matthew 17:1-2: Six days later Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. And He was transfigured before them; and His face shone like the sun, and His garments became as white as light.
Revelation 1:17-18: When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.
Luke 16:22-25: Now the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom; and the rich man also died and was buried. In Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried out and said, “Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.”
I Peter 4:5-6: … who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the living and the dead. For unto this end was the gospel preached even to the dead, that they might be judged indeed according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
John 20:11-17: But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping; and so, as she wept, she stooped and looked into the tomb; and she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been lying. And they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.” When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Supposing Him to be the gardener, she said to Him, “Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away.” Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (which means, Teacher). Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’”
Ephesians 4:7-10: But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore it says, “When He ascended on high, He led captive a host of captives, and He gave gifts to men.” (Now this expression, “He ascended,” what does it mean except that He also had descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things.)
Matthew 27:52-53: The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection they entered the holy city and appeared to many.
Daniel 7:13-14: “I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven one like a Son of Man was coming, and He came up to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him. And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations and men of every language might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed.”
Hebrews 9:3-14: Behind the second veil there was a tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies, having a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden jar holding the manna, and Aaron’s rod which budded, and the tables of the covenant; and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat; but of these things we cannot now speak in detail. Now when these things have been so prepared, the priests are continually entering the outer tabernacle performing the divine worship, but into the second, only the high priest enters once a year, not without taking blood, which he offers for himself and for the sins of the people committed in ignorance. The Holy Spirit is signifying this, that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed while the outer tabernacle is still standing, which is a symbol for the present time. Accordingly both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make the worshiper perfect in conscience, since they relate only to food and drink and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until a time of reformation. But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
