“Your heart is not with Me. Your heart is not with Me, My People. For you continue to go your own way throughout your day. You continue to believe as you have believed before. You continue to read My Word in the same way as you have before, with the same idiosyncrasies and pounded-in beliefs.

“Have you yet to come to Me and lay all your understandings and interpretations of My Word on the altar before Me – and ask Me to sift through them and give them back to you unadulterated and pure? What keeps you from doing this? Are you afraid of the long-held beliefs I will take from you? Is it truly your desire to hold on to long-held beliefs that are not correct? Might you miss My best plan for you, might you miss what I AM doing in your nation right now before your eyes – if you choose to hold on to incorrect doctrines?

“What is a ‘doctrine?’ It is a way of thinking, a theological plan entirely out of the mind of man. I see you shake your head at that. ‘Truly,’ you ask Me – ‘every doctrine is from the mind of man?’

“Yes.

“Do you know how these doctrines came about? Every one came from the mind of man using their own rational thinking, searching My scriptures for revealed meaning – yet not relying on MY Revelation. Doctrines are of man. True Revelation is from God. I have and do release My Revelation upon those who earnestly seek My meaning in scriptures. How often do you come to the scriptures in such a posture? How often do you turn to doctrine to prove your point, your belief? How often do you quote ‘learned scholars’ of the Bible as the ultimate truth? And how often do you come to Me and prostrate yourself before Me and cry out for My Revelation?

“My People, I invite you – I demand of you – this way of coming to My scriptures. You must come in all humility. You must come to Me with the willingness to empty your mind of all the doctrine you have been taught, should I require such of you because it is incorrect. Yes, there are many Revelations of My meaning in scriptures that are correct. These I will give back to you – with so much more. For I will cover them with My Glory and greater Revelation. The rest I will take from you. And, yes, you might stumble under the weight of the revealing. I will make you strong again. I will call you to stand straight and tall under the great Joy, the great Victory and Wonder of My Revelations to you. This will take your time. This will take all your heart. This will take your willingness to spend enough time with Me that I can hone your ears to listen. I want you to be able to listen and hear My Revelation above the noise of your doctrine-based ‘truths.’

“You want to come up higher with Me? This is how you do it. You allow ME to form your opinions. Not man. I will give you the ability to study and search the scriptures in whole new ways. I will give you the uncovering of My mysteries. This requires a willing and listening heart. A heart completely ready and crying out for My Revelation. My answers, My Truth, is so much greater than you have imagined. So much deeper and higher and wider. Let Me open My Own scriptures to you – for these are the Revelation of Me, your Savior Jesus. I love to share My Truths with you that you have never understood, because you have sat under teaching for years that have filled your head with the incorrect view of My words. If they are so ‘correct,’ and the one right beside you – who believes something completely different – also stands in ‘correctness’ – how can this be? Perhaps neither of you is correct.

“Come to ME for your beliefs. Only ME. Amazing that this is such a new concept. When you think about it, is it not the most rational of all? That I and I alone should be your Revelation of the words written about Me?

“Think on this. Pray on this, My People. I call you higher. Will you come?”

In hearing a word from the Lord, I always need to turn off my rational brain and record in faith. Often it doesn’t make sense to me as I record, because I have no time to delve into understanding at the moment. In reading this word after recording, I found some hard sayings in it. I asked the Lord for clarification, and He led me to a couple of points:

1. The Lord is not saying all doctrine taught by all churches is wrong. He’s delineating between His revelation of a true doctrine and teachings of the church/bible scholars who have only relied on their own human thinking and study – without humbly asking His opinion and leaning in to hear His answer.

2. Neither is the Lord telling us we can never sit under the teaching of scripture by another person. He is saying, however, to bring all teaching to Him and let Him sift through it. Bottom line, all of our biblical interpretation should come as a result of the Lord’s revelation of their truth. After all, He is the author of the book.

You might find this hard to do at first. I certainly did. A few years ago, the Lord began speaking to me of where the world is now in His biblical timeline – and part of my view of eschatology didn’t match at all. But I told Him I would listen, and over a number of months He patiently showed me the truth. I realized that in all my months of personal Bible study on the subject, I’d done exactly what He is talking about in this word. I’d relied on my own intellect and rationality in forming my opinion of the “truth” – without ever asking Him of His opinion. I was very sincere in my belief – and in some parts of it, very wrong. Since then I have learned to not even open a Bible without asking Him for revelation of whatever I read. This has become such a joy to me. And indeed, how much better His truth is! Far greater and more glorious than anything I could imagine.

II Timothy 3:16-17: All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Proverbs 9:10: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Proverbs 2:6: For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

James 1:5: If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

I Corinthians 3:18-20: Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, “He is the one who catches the wise in their craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are useless.” 

I Corinthians 2:9-12: As it is written, “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.” For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God. 

Romans 11:33: Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

Isaiah 55:8-9: “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
