Last night, New Year’s Eve, in New York City, lightning struck a World Trade Center building and the Empire State Building during a rare December thunderstorm. The last time NYC had a thunderstorm in December was 1971. Meanwhile in Washington DC, lightning struck the U.S. Capitol and the Washington Monument.

Excerpt from God’s word earlier on December 31: “Look to My creation for things you have not seen. PAY ATTENTION. Set aside your tendency to call sequence or concurrence of note as ‘coincidence.’ Am I a God of coincidence? Does anything happen in My creation that surprises Me? That is random to Me? Do you not see the foolishness of labeling wondrous events set up by Me as happenstance? Look beyond this earthbound tendency of yours and ask yourself – What is God saying?”

Each of these buildings represents crucial aspects of America. What might the Lord be telling us?
