2:18 am: “You like what you see. What if what you ‘see’ is not real?
“What is ‘not real?’ It can be something purposely faked. Or it can be something genuinely believed by the person – but wrong. ‘Off,’ as you might say. Sincerity does not always equal correct.
“How to discern such things?
“My word is always true. Reliable. Precise. My word cuts to the bone. Cuts even between bone and marrow, like a surgeon’s scalpel. This is written in My word. Such also are My spoken words to My People. Here, the discernment lies in the filtering. The vessel hearing My word must be clean, unadulterated. Willing to hear what they don’t want to hear, what may challenge or provoke them. The hearers of the word must also discern. One word misspoken does not mean ALL spoken is wrong. Sentence to sentence requires discernment.
“Only I can lead you to correct discernment. Ask Me – and I will tell you. I will never sit back and allow you to go astray. But – will you listen to what I say – without your own filtering and assumptions? Right discernment requires your ALL, your walking with Me in close relationship, ever attuned to My Voice. As you come to know Me more and more, the greater your spirit sings – and syncs – with Mine.
“REST in Me. LISTEN to Me, listen FOR Me at all times. I will lead you to the extent you allow Me to do so. You cannot discern rightly on your own. You were created to live by My Spirit – not your own. Your spirit and Mine intertwined leads you to great power. Power comes from right discernment. Always, ALWAYS, I AM your resource. And I AM never-ending. Amen.”

Notes:
Hebrews 4:12-13: For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Philippians 1:9-11: And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
Hebrews 5:14: But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.
I Corinthians 2:10-14: These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
I Kings 3:7-9: “Now, Lord my God, you have made your servant king in place of my father David. But I am only a little child and do not know how to carry out my duties. Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number. So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”
