May 23, 2025

This word came on August 23, 2024, before I began this blog. In reading all the words God has spoken to me on the 23rd of each month, this one leapt out at me in a fresh way. God is reminding us that He makes each one of us perfect. Our own sin, our following the ways of this fallen world, mar that perfection. Walking with Him takes off those layers of imperfection and returns us to what He made us to be.

On that morning in August, I asked the Lord what He would say to me, and He responded with this amazing word that speaks to all people:

“I would like to tell you that you are loved. That you are cherished. That there is no one like you in your uniqueness. For I fashioned you to be YOU. A unique creation designed to do My Will and hear My Voice. To commune with Me. To bask in My Love and Glory. When you come to Me and listen, you learn more about yourself. For I know you even better than you know yourself. I designed you. I know every intricate piece and particle of you. As you give all of yourself to Me, I reveal more of who you are. The best you is the YOU who follows My destiny. To stray from My destiny is to lose out on seeing your greatest potential. In Love I bring back those who stray. In Love I even make up for lost time. Love is gracious and kind and everlasting. I AM Love.”
