3:32: “Do not go into a ‘snit fit,’ as you might say. Do not ‘go gentle.’ Go with Me.

“What does this mean? Why would I speak in such a way?

“I speak of human emotion awry. Reacting in anger. Being too passive when a fighting spirit is required. Both of these are unbridled. Both focus on YOU. Both speak to positions of the heart. A readiness to respond out of pure emotion not aligned with Me.

“I would teach you peace instead of anger. I would teach you how to fight for My Kingdom rather than lie back in complacency. I would teach you every-day, moment-by-moment living in full alignment with Me. This is Kingdom-focused. This is refinement of spirit.

“Would you choose to live in such a way?

“Choose wisely.”

Ecclesiastes 7:9: Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.

Proverbs 15:18: A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but the slow to anger calms a dispute.

James 4:5-7: Do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose: “He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us?” But He gives a greater grace. Matthew 6:9-10: Pray, then, in this way: “Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
